Index a Hex, a two piece top jaw system offers a flexible alternative to the solid soft scroll jaw. The hexagon-shaped top jaws can provide up to six alternative external gripping faces with wrap-round capability and quick changeover from one position to another.

The top jaws are locked onto a master base jaw securely by a pull down precision dovetail and side location points; this ensures correct alignment, rigidity and good repeatability. Quick and simple indexing is achieved by the removal of a central cap head screw and rotation of the hexagon top jaw.
